VINYL DREAMS NEWS

Thursday 19th January 2018

Well, what an absolutely cracking night we had last night at our VINYL APPRECIATION Night at Strangebrew in Chorlton.

Great music from all our Discateers, who brought their records and played some great sets, and a crowded bar too. A fantastic turn out for mid January :-)

We will be doing it again next Thursday 25th January 2018... FREE ADMISSION

On Saturday 20th January, we will be back in Chorlton at The Library, Beech Road for 'NORTHERN GOLD' an evening of Northern Soul, Motown, Funk and a little Disco. As well as VDRs Mikey, will be DJ Anna, Lisa Butterworth, Terry Hallows and Tarko... FREE ADMISSION.

Later this year, as well as our SOULOPIA (Northern Soul and Motown Nights) we will also be re-launching 'MIKEY's DJ DELITES (Soul, Funk and Disco) and MIKEY's JUKEBOX JIVE (RnR, Soul, 60s, 70s and 80s Classics)

FINALLY

I know this is a long way off, but we are planning a GLOBAL event on Wednesday 30th January 2019... That dates marks the 50th Anniversary of The Beatles impromptu concert on the roof of Apple Records HQ.

We are attempting to get hundreds or THOUSANDS of singers / musicians to GET BACK on a roof for a short concert, and by donation or sponsorship raise funds for CANCER RESEARCH UK.
